ChadNet - the eBulletin of St Chad's Church, Pattingham
        with Patshull

Welcome to this week’s edition of ChadNet – the eBulletin of St Chad’s Church, Pattingham with Patshull.

In this week’s ChadNet:

View from the Pews

Easter lilies

Some time ago Henry approached me to maybe write a few lines for ChadNet. At the time I refused feeling that I had little of interest to offer but would give it some thought.

Just recently on reflection, I thought well maybe?

Flowers have always been my passion and most of you will probably associate me with ‘Flower Club’.

Since early childhood I have held a love for flowers – one of God’s wonderful creations to my mind. Flowers stir the senses in every way possible – colour, smell, shape, texture, form – they have it all.

‘Doing’ church flowers, as the saying goes, is a privilege which gives me enormous pleasure. The flower arrangements in church created by our lovely Guild ladies not only enhance the natural splendour of our beautiful church, but also give much pleasure to the congregation and our visitors.

After spending Easter with my family, I decided to pop into church for a quiet moment. And what a sight greeted me! I have never seen the church look more lovely. Stunning flower arrangements throughout the body of the church were an absolute delight and, at the altar stood the Easter lilies in all their magnificence, joyfully singing praises to the glory of our Lord – What joy! So uplifting!

How blessed are we to have such creativity and talent within our midst?

Did you see the Easter flowers in church?

If you, like me have a love of flowers, why not join the team at St. Chads? You would be most welcome. Why not give us a try?

Yours in friendship and flowers

Margaret Harris

Donations for The Well

The need for the Food Bank continues and the box for donations for the Food Bank at The Well in Wolverhampton continues to be at the back of the church.
