2017 Bells Run

The 2017 Bells Run took place on Sunday 8th October 2017

The course length was changed from previous years to 10 km. A 5 km course over part of the 10 km course was also introduced.
There were 511 entries for the 10 km run and 68 for the 5 km. A full list of results is on the Pattingham Bells Run website – just follow the links.

Lots of comments have been received via Facebook. Many people commented that they preferred the new 10km route over the 7 mile course from previous years, and how spectacular the views were. The 5km was also positively received.

There were 511 entries in the 10K race and 68 for the 5K.

Overall winner of the longer course was Martin Williams of Dudley, a member of Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club, in 35 minutes 38 seconds. The leading female was Debbie Walters of Walsall, a member of Birchfield Harriers, in 40 minutes 56 seconds.

Adrian Lloyd-Davies (19 min 30 sec) and Carissa Jones (28 min 33 sec), both of Wolverhampton, were 5K winners.

The leading Pattingham 10K runner was Helen O’Donnell (50 min 20 sec)
