Starts at 12.30 pm in the Village Hall celebrating the King\u2019s Coronation with a special buffet and a glass of Prosecco.

Coronation Flowers in Church<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t miss the Floral Displays, all with a Coronation theme of red, white and blue flowers in St Chad\u2019s Church, created by members of the St Chad\u2019s Church Flower Guild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coronation of King Charles III<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

10.00 am to 4.00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coronation is centred around a solemn religious ceremony and has remained largely unchanged for over a thousand years. For the last 900 years, the ceremony has taken place at Westminster Abbey, London and is conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.30 pm until 11.30 pm in the Village Hall with Live Music and Dance Caller from the ‘Eve Evans Experience\u2019. Bring your own drinks.

The Big Help Out<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A special Bank Holiday has been proclaimed by the Prime Minister in honour of the Coronation, giving everyone the opportunity to join in with their communities and good causes through Big Help Out activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here in Pattingham, starting at the Village Hall from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon, we are staging a ‘BIG HELP OUT – LITTER\u2019 event where we all take part in a ‘CLEAN UP OUR VILLAGE\u2019 campaign, with lots of chocy treats for all the youngsters.. .

The organisation of the Coronation celebrations has been a joint initiative between the Parish Council and the Parochial Church Council.
