Meetings of St Chad\u2019s Parochial Church Council are now held on the third Tuesday of the month which means that it will not be possible to include Snippets in the following month\u2019s magazine. Snippets from the meeting on July 18 will therefore be in the September magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There have, however, been some developments in various things between meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Appointment of new vicar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The diocese has given the go-ahead to advertise the half-time post of Mcar of Pattingham with Patshull on its own. The advertisement is being drafted and we hope that it will attract suitable applicants when it appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Church Fete<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Church Fete on Saturday July 1 raised just over \u00a33,000 for church funds. The PCC is grateful to all those who helped to organise it, to run stalls and other attractions and to donate cakes and prizes. Thanks also to everyone who came and spent their money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Holiday Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Planning for the Holiday Club, which takes place on August 7-8 at Kingswood, has been continuing. Booking has been open for a few weeks but there may still be some places available by the time this magazine appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dementia-friendly church<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tracey Williams is continuing to develop the dementia-friendly church resources.
