The rota is prepared for us by Mary Hayward, who has faithfully served us and continues to do so, as this terrible war goes on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is time to ask that you all help!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know how busy lives are, but please, could you say two short prayers, then after a period of meditation (10 minutes) when the group can offer their own prayers or pray in silence, close the session with The Lord&#8217;s Prayer or The Grace? Would you identify one Tuesday in July, August or September when you could offer to lead us, and contact Mary (<a href=\"mailto:maryleah@hotmail.co.uk\">maryleah@hotmail.co.uk<\/a>) to confirm the date?<br>Please &#8216;be a friend&#8217; and share 15 minutes of your time for others to &#8216;lean on&#8217;. Just come along to any Tuesday session to experience what a meaningful, beautiful and peaceful time this is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is 15 minutes of your time, to share with Our Lord and lead His people in prayer for others. We join Christians all around the world to pray for all involved in both Ukraine and Russia. The contractors will be working in and around the church. The church and churchyard will remain open but please take care while using them. Access to the toilets will be kept unlocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Century Club draw<\/strong> takes place on <strong>Monday<\/strong>. Those attending will receive a warm welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is <strong>NO<\/strong> <strong>Shower Singers<\/strong> this week as it is taking a break for half term. It will return next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>7 pm<\/strong> on <strong>Wednesday Choir Practice<\/strong> takes place in church. Many children are trying to continue their learning in a makeshift classroom with no facilities. A simple pencil case makes a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We collected 34 pencil cases in total and they are now on their way to Ukraine. Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jane Whittall<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\">\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Fete\"><a><\/a>Village Fete \u2013 Saturday 6th July, midday onwards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As we hurtle headlong towards summer, the village fete will soon be upon us.&nbsp; Plans are coming together nicely and advertising and competition entry forms will be circulating from the beginning of May.&nbsp; Entry forms will be available from either Le Salon, the Co-Op, The Pigot or the back of the church. As can be seen from the thank you letter which was in last week&#8217;s ChadNet and Alan&#8217;s View from the Pews a few weeks ago your gifts do make a difference to those who find life a real struggle.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The box remains at the rear of the church for donations of food and toiletries and the wishing well for donations of cash.
