We will be hosting at the Village Hall a Dementia Awareness Introduction session for all in the Trysull Deanery. Everyone is welcome. Contact details to book your free place for anyone from our church is via myself, which can be done by email traceyelizabeth.tw@gmail.com or 07804 039330 (this is purely for numbers and refreshments). Details will be advertised on the notice board. I do hope you will come along.

I will also be arranging a session about the history of St. Chad’s Church, the stained glass windows and Pattingham itself. How it was and how it is now. So anyone with old photos would be gratefully received (returned of course). This allows individuals to reminisce. It will be held within the church with refreshments on a date to be arranged.

The third action is to Share A Prayer (this has already been submitted) and provide prayer cards for individuals to take home which is in progress.

Sunday 7th July is my second Dementia Themed Service. I will utilise parts of a service called “Boats & Staying Afloat” which is by Sarah Thorpe, the Dementia Enabler for the Diocese. Therefore, that is the theme. Please bring a boat – this may be a picture, toy boat or something from a boat.
