As soon as the candle is lit, we come together and pray for families, refugees, soldiers, children and the wider picture around the world. No two weeks are ever the same. Sometimes we focus our prayers on particular named individuals, or it may be a recent event that has just happened. Nevertheless, when we light our candle and sit quietly in a circle we feel God\u2019s nearness and we pray that He will be with the people in Ukraine: the ordinary families like us and the soldiers bravely defending their country. We sometimes pray out loud and sometimes just quietly in our heads. Please do join us and if you would like more information or are willing to lead a session, please contact Mary Hayward (<a href=\"mailto:maryleah@hotmail.co.uk\">maryleah@hotmail.co.uk<\/a>)<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On Wednesday<\/strong> at <strong>10.00 am<\/strong> there will be a service of <strong>Holy Communion<\/strong> according to the Book of Common Prayer in church which will be followed by tea, coffee and cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After the service<\/strong> the church will be open<strong> from 10.30 am<\/strong> until at least 11.00 am as a <strong>Place of Welcome<\/strong> when anyone who wants to will be welcome to share in the coffee, cake and chat, whether they have been to the service or not. Those attending will receive a warm welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>6 pm<\/strong> the <strong>Pattingham Shower Singers<\/strong> meet in church. All are welcome &#8211; just come and sing and have fun! The total sterling payment was \u00a3160.75 which has been made up to \u00a3175 from church funds. All at the Well are very grateful for your support. This appeal is now closed but we will look to do it again in the future.<br><br>Harvest produce from the church and school will again be donated to the Well.
