Sponsored Sing and Play<\/h1>\n

\"Youth<\/a>
\nOn Sunday 10th December 2017, amidst heavy snow, the Youth Group performed a Sponsored Play and Sing to support the partnership between St Chad’s School and Mwiyenga ACK Primary School in Kenya.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Members of\u00a0the Youth Group played and sang continuously for 2 hours 26 minutes (it is 4400 miles between the 2 schools so converted into seconds Kenya and back is this many minutes!) The group played guitars, trumpets and drums and sang a variety of pieces including lots of Christmas music.<\/p>\n

\nMany thanks to all of those people who sponsored them and to the people who braved the snow in order to support them on the day. It is hoped that the money will go towards buying bibles and sports equiment for the school and funding a teacher from Mwiyenga to come to Pattingham in May.<\/p>\n
