Buying presents is a low priority, as their homes often lack running water or are cold, damp and dark because they have no electricity. Our online Shoebox Appeal&nbsp;list mixes eleven essential and luxury items. The boxes are similar however the children\u2019s games and education materials are replaced with a wind-up torch, sensory items, candle and holder etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Shoebox Appeal for the elderly people is a very powerful reminders that people genuinely care. The online Christmas shoebox list includes a range of much-needed items. For example, you might select:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cutlery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lavender bag<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Socks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot water bottle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pen and paper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reading glasses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gloves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boiled sweets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soap and flannel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toothbrush and toothpaste<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year we collected 43 boxes.
