A 5 km course over part of the 10 km course was also introduced.<br>\nThere were 511 entries for the 10 km run and 68 for the 5 km. A full list of results is on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pattinghambellsrun.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pattingham Bells Run website<\/a> \u2013 just follow the links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lots of comments have been received via Facebook. Many people \ncommented that they preferred the new 10km route over the 7 mile course \nfrom previous years, and how spectacular the views were. The 5km was \nalso positively received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:left\">There were 511 entries in the 10K race and 68 for the 5K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall winner of the longer course was Martin Williams of Dudley, a member of Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club, in 35 minutes 38 seconds. The leading female was Debbie Walters of Walsall, a member of Birchfield Harriers, in 40 minutes 56 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adrian Lloyd-Davies (19 min 30 sec) and Carissa Jones (28 min 33 sec), both of Wolverhampton, were 5K winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The leading Pattingham 10K runner was Helen O&#8217;Donnell (50 min 20 sec)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many thanks and congratulations again to the marshalls and the whole team for a great race !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"clear\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2017 Bells Run took place on Sunday 8th October 2017 The course length was changed from previous years to 10 km.
