Instead of the children handling our very delicate plaster figures, Maureen had knitted all the nativity characters which
the children placed in the moveable stable. There were lots of approving comments.

The plaster figures were placed in the lit nativity scene under the altar.
The star on the tower, which was part of the Follow the Star experience, had been very successful. It remained lit until Candlemas on February 2, which is marks the end of the full Christmas and Epiphany season.

We will look into the possibility of having stars on all four sides of the tower in the future so that they can be seen from all directions.

A total of just over £380 was raised for the Children’s Society at the Christingle service and the Carol Singing in the three pubs.

ECO church.

The information which we need to submit to gain accreditation under the ECO Church scheme is being collated and will then be submitted. There will also be vacancies for Deanery Synod and PCC members.

For anyone interested in one of these roles, more information about what is involved will be available nearer the time.

Previous meeting – Next meeting – Index Snippets from the PCC meeting – 21st January 2020 Among the items discussed at the January meeting of the PCC were: Christmas.
