We are the Church of England Parish of Pattingham with Patshull. The parish includes the villages of Pattingham, Patshull and Burnhill Green in Staffordshire and also parts of Shropshire, including Rudge and an area around Patshull. St Chad’s Church is at the centre of the village of Pattingham and dates from the 12th century with Victorian additions. As the only church in the parish we welcome those of any denomination or none to our services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev Merry Smith became Vicar of Pattingham and Patshull on Sunday 10th August 2025 at a service of Collation and Induction led by the Bishop of Wolverhampton. She was previously Rector of Newport with Longford, and Chetwynd in Shropshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vicar\u2019s post is half time so Merry will not be working every day. Her phone number is 07486 066065 and her email address is vicar@pattinghamchurch.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memory Walk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sunday 12th April 2026 Meet at 2.00 pm at St Chad’s Church, Pattingham WV6 7BQ<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Memory Walk is due to take place this afternoon at 2 pm. Due to the unsettled weather we have decided that those that would like to still walk are welcome to do so and then come into church for chat and refreshments. Those who do not want to walk can meet in church to chat, enjoy the refreshments and walk inside the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
