Presentations to two for long service to St Chad’s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday 12th June 2022 presentations were made at the morning service in St Chad’s to mark the remarkable service to the church of Gladys Jones and Martin Parker.<\/p>\n\n\n

Glady has served more than 57 years in the church choir, on whose behalf organist and choirmaster Greg Lewin presented her with a David Austin garden voucher. In the photograph Clive Pendrell, Churchwarden, is seen above presenting her with Dining Out Voucher on behalf of the PCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the other photograph Churchwarden Dorothy Steel is seen presenting Martin with wine in thanks for his service over 25 years as distribution manager for the Parish Magazine. During this time, it is estimated he has driven more than 4,000 miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St Chad’s is grateful to Gladys and Martin for their dedication and hard work lovingly given for so many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
