We can see beauty in all creation around us can\u2019t we? We see beautiful flowers, beautiful clouds, beautiful animals, beautiful rivers and so many beautiful things that God has created.&nbsp; When we see beautiful things that god has created we see can see that god us a god of beauty.&nbsp; But did you know that beauty is not always something we can see with our eyes? That\u2019s right, you can\u2019t see love with your eyes physically but love is beautiful isn\u2019t it?&nbsp;&nbsp; You can\u2019t see friendship with your eyes either but it is also beautiful isn\u2019t it? The bible says when God finished creating everything he stepped back and said its very good&nbsp; this was from Genesis chapter 1 verse 31&nbsp; God saying&nbsp; \u201cIt\u2019s very Good\u201d meant its beautiful.&nbsp; God makes things of beauty and wants our lives and world to be filled with of beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a scripture from the bible from Psalm 104: verse 24 that says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>O\u00a0Lord, what a variety of things you have made!<\/em><br><em>In wisdom you have made them all.<\/em><br><em>The earth is full of your creatures.<\/em><br><br>We saw lots of beautiful things at holiday club, the children had an amazing time. The children got to do a variety of forest school things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did a Wildlife Trail where they has to follow a marked trail through the woodland area, they had to work as a team and use problem solving strategies<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did pizza Making<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They went on the adventure Ropes and Zip Line area and did tree Climbing learning, where they developed their balancing on our adventure ropes, traversing wall and tree climbing areas and develop motor skills using climbing and balancing techniques.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did den building they work as team using teamwork and communication skills they had to build a shelter for a purpose.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They met the pets \u2013 rabbits, guinea pig, sheep, they learnt how to look after and manage the animals and enjoyed stroking and feeding the pets.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did Pond Dipping, where they used used nets to collect pond life and identify pond life by using identification cards.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did a Scavenger and Colour Hunt where they had to go into the woodland for natural materials observing textures, shapes, and colours.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did Orienteering, they had work as part of a team using a map to navigate around the site.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did Minibeast Investigation using magnifying pots and glasses to discover and observe minibeast in the woodland environment, they used identification card to identify the species<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did a mindful Trail where they had to explore the woodland and create a trail for their friends to see if they could follow the trail they had made<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did a Campfire using tools to whittle hazel this developed their listening and concentration skills.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did leaf and tree identification, where they had to Collect leaves and use ID cards to find out which tree they are from. They created leaf rubbings<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2022 They did soft archery which developed their hand to eye coordination and gross motor skills through the handling of the soft archery equipment, plus it developed their listening and concentration skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like to thank all our volunteers who helped at holiday club. The children who attended the Holiday Club will help to present the service. We look forward to welcoming to church the children and their families at this service. During the service Philip Sims, the PCC Chairman, will present Certificates of Merit to the children which detail their achievements. There will be an opportunity after the service for families to take photographs. <strong>Coffee (and tea and biscuits) will be available after the service.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will not be a Communion service this week as no priest is available to take the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"This_week\">This week<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The church will be open every day<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>Look out for the &#8220;church open&#8221; sign outside the porch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On Tuesday <\/strong><strong>and Thursday Prayers for Peace<\/strong> will be said in church at <strong>6 pm<\/strong>. On other days of the week the church will remain open until at least 6.30 pm and there will be a sheet of prayers left in the Lady Chapel for people to use if they wish. It performs in theatres, churches and schools throughout the country and is currently performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It is well known for being a highly accomplished, professional and entertaining company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company is performing its latest production <strong>The Liberator<\/strong> on <strong>Saturday 24th September<\/strong> at <strong>7.30pm<\/strong> at <strong>Christ Church, Tettenhall Wood<\/strong>. Tickets are \u00a310 each.
