This is the latest in our series of pen portraits of members of St Chad’s Parochial Church Council and features Anna Davies
Busy mother is now in charge of organising St Chad’s church fete

I have lived in Pattingham for 17 years and work at St Chad’s First School. I am married to Paul Davies and we have two children, Callum who is 11 and Frankie who is five.
I am very passionate about all aspects in our village, which is why I take pride in being involved in its organisations. I want to help our village continue to be the beautiful place that we live in.
I have been going to St Chad’s Church since 2008 and have actively been involved with it since 2011, helping out with various events.
I run the church holiday club with a team of helpers, I am Sunday school leader with the help of my husband Paul. This year I have taken over organising the church fete with a team of helpers.
I joined the parochial church council in May 2018; as I play an active tole in the church I wanted to become a PCC member to broaden my knowledge of all aspects of the church.
In 2011 I became a councillor on Pattingham and Patshull Parish Council.
I have also been actively serving our community in many other village organisations, including: the governing body of St Chad’s First School and the school Parents, Teachers and Friends Association, the Education Foundation Trust, the over-65s Christmas dinner, Pattingham Village Pre-school, Pattingham Working Men’s Club, Pattingham Toddler Group, the former Playing Fields Committee and Pattingham Village Hall.
