Holiday Club proves a big success
Thirty youngsters from the village enjoyed the St Chad’s Church Holiday Club at the Kingswood Trust Centre over three days in August. Activities for the youngsters — seen above — included the climbing wall, cooking, exploring the woodland, map reading, soft archery and making friends with the centre’s animals.
The event proved a big success and St Chad’s congregation heard all about it in church the following Sunday when the children helped to present the service.
