Your gifts mean St Chad’s can support the community

The church is at the heart of life in our parish and, as a landmark, can be seen from many miles away. It has been at the forefront of so many initiatives and new ideas and we believe that serving our local community is central to our Christian ethos.
This, however, cannot be achieved without your support.
Did you know that it costs more than £100,000 a year to run the church in Pattingham? This covers the cost of a vicar, maintenance of the building and churchyard and general running costs.
Like everyone, we are not immune to the rise in fuel bills; heating and electricity in the church has increased greatly.
Our income comes from many sources including events such as the annual fete and Scarecrow and Christmas Tree festivals. We also receive fees for weddings and funerals.
Our main income, though, comes from voluntary donations and we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who supports the church financially. Without your help we would not be able to continue supporting the local communities in Pattingham and Patshull.
You can make donations to our church in many ways: regular envelope schemes, payments directly from your bank account, one-off donations or a legacy in your will; and these days you can even donate by contactless cards and texts.
Remember, too, that if you are a taxpayer, we can claim an additional 25 per cent though gift aid at no further cost to yourself.
Once again, thank you for your continued support, which is so much appreciated.
If you would like more information on how you can donate to the church please contact: Graham Tritton, PCC Donations and Gift Aid Secretary, 700065, mobile 07718 149164 or by email at
