Snippets from the PCC Meeting – 17th March 2026
The PCC meeting on 17th March was held in church and among the matters discussed were:
Remembrance Poppy Installation
As part of our Remembrance Sunday commemorations in November we are hoping to have an installation of knitted or crocheted poppies. We are hoping that lots of people will get involved by knitting or crocheting the poppies. The more poppies we have the larger the installation will be. We are looking forward to seeing something which will make a statement about remembering the fallen in wars and conflicts. Tracey Williams is leading this project and will be happy to receive offers of help and to answer any questions.
Church Fabric
Work on repairing damaged plaster in the Lady Chapel has been completed. Repairs to loose floor tiles are in progress. The damaged cross on the apex of the chancel roof has been taken down so it can be repaired and replaced.
