Snippets from the PCC Meeting – 19th November 2024
The PCC met in church on November 19 and among the matters discussed were:
Wedding and funeral fees
Most fees for weddings and funerals are set by the Church of England nationally. The new fees from January 1 have been published and, as would be expected, have been increased to take account of inflation. The PCC fixes fees for optional extras such as organist, choir and bellringers and those have also been increased to take account of inflation.
The full table of fees is on the church website and church porch notice board.
