Bells Run was a wet splash in the mud
The Pattingham Bells Run on Sunday October 14 proved to be one of the wettest, with runners splashing at times through mud.

There are two runs, one over ten kilometres and the other over five. Unfortunately, there was a major problem when a large batch of 10km runners were sent the wrong way and completed the 5km run instead.
This only affected the leading 10km runners and the organisers expressed their profound regret and issued an unreserved apology.
The error did not affect the 5km race, which went to plan.
Winner of the 10km race was Craig Parry, in a time of 51min 31secs, while the first lady home was Lisa Abbott, of Sphinx AC, 54 minutes 49 seconds.
In the 5km race, Charlie Jones was the winner (24:34), the first lady Lillian Wilcox, of Bridqnorth Running Club (25:59).
The Accidental race winner was Martin Williams, of Tipton Harriers (19:54) and the first lady Tessa Clarke, of Wolverhampton and Bilston AC (23:21).
