A King’s Banquet
Starts at 12.30 pm in the Village Hall celebrating the King’s Coronation with a special buffet and a glass of Prosecco.

Don’t miss the Floral Displays, all with a Coronation theme of red, white and blue flowers in St Chad’s Church, created by members of the St Chad’s Church Flower Guild.

The Coronation of King Charles III
10.00 am to 4.00 pm
The Coronation is centred around a solemn religious ceremony and has remained largely unchanged for over a thousand years. For the last 900 years, the ceremony has taken place at Westminster Abbey, London and is conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Barn Dance with Hog Roast
7.30 pm until 11.30 pm in the Village Hall with Live Music and Dance Caller from the ‘Eve Evans Experience’. Bring your own drinks.

A spectacular Coronation Concert will be performed at Windsor Castle with iconic locations across the UK lit up using projections, lasers, drone displays and illuminations.

The Big Help Out
A special Bank Holiday has been proclaimed by the Prime Minister in honour of the Coronation, giving everyone the opportunity to join in with their communities and good causes through Big Help Out activities.
Here in Pattingham, starting at the Village Hall from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon, we are staging a ‘BIG HELP OUT – LITTER’ event where we all take part in a ‘CLEAN UP OUR VILLAGE’ campaign, with lots of chocy treats for all the youngsters.. .

The organisation of the Coronation celebrations has been a joint initiative between the Parish Council and the Parochial Church Council. Both organisations are indebted to those who have taken responsibility for the various events which it is hoped will provide a fitting memory of the entire weekend.
