On Friday 24th April 2026 Henry Ibberson completed a freefall tandem skydive which was sponsored in aid of Kidney Care UK and Village by Village, both charities dear to Henry’s heart.
Having reached a certain milestone (his 80th birthday) he decided he wanted to do something to make a difference. Reprising something he and his wife, Liz, did in New Zealand with Jill, their daughter, 24 years ago He planned to do a freefall tandem skydive once more, but this time for charity.
It was completed safely and he has so far raised over £5,000 (plus over £1,000 in gift aid) for the two charities. More details are on the givewheel fundraising page (on which donations can still be made).
