We are holding a Memory Walk
We are holding a Memory Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society (one of this year’s actions for our Dementia Friendly Church Certificate).
- On Sunday 12th April 2026
- Meeting at 2 pm at St Chad`s Church, Pattingham WV6 7BQ.
The Alzheimer`s Society is dedicated to creating a world where dementia no longer devastates lives, striving to provide support for those living with dementia today while nurturing hope for a brighter future.
For all abilities.
St Chad`s would like to invite you to join them for a Memory Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society, a family friendly walk around Hamley Woods. A great way to remember people whose lives have shaped our living and to make a difference for those affected by dementia.
This can be achieved in one of three ways.
- Join us for the walk around Hamley Woods (approx. 1hr) starting and finishing at the Church (where refreshments will be provided)
- Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing dependant on the weather.
- All children 16 and under will need to be with a parent or guardian.
- For the more adventurous:
- Organise your own walking / running distance and route or take part in a larger event which allows for flexibility of how you would like to raise money.
- Walk at home? See how many laps round your own garden you can complete.
