Greg Lewin is our new organist
After studying music at Trinity College, London and Bristol University, he taught music in a secondary school for ten years before leaving to pursue an interest in early music, making instruments and editing mediaeval and renaissance music.
An interest in computing led to a Master’s degree in information technology and a period spent developing software for music publishing.
He has been involved in church music since he was a junior choirboy and has been a church organist almost as long.
As a church musician he has always maintained a choir, for which he has composed and arranged anthems and sacred music.
He has also directed a number of larger works, ranging from Stainer’s Crucifixion to musicals ..
Greg lives in Brewood with his wife, Sue and Sirius the dog.
