The Well – the Wolverhampton Food Bank

The Well

We are pleased to report that our financial problems have eased dramatically over the last few months following receipt of a number of generous donations. Supplies, unfortunately, are running low. We are currently in the middle of the ‘dip’ between the big Christmas and harvest donations, so please give as generously as you are able.

All donations are welcome but, in particular, our top needs are:

  • Female toiletries
  • UHT milk
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Cook in Sauces
  • Noodles

Thank you for your continued support.

If you wish to know more about the work of The Well, or would like to know how you can support it in other ways, do connect via their website, where you can sign up to the newsletter and link to their Social Media pages: <www.thewellwolverhampton.co.uk>

Dementia Friendly Church

Weekly Prayer

Becoming Dementia Friendly Church

Do not fear what may happen tomorrow;
the same everlasting Father who cares for you today
will take care of you then and everyday.
He will either shield you from suffering, or will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace and put aside all anxious thoughts and imagination.
Amen

(St Francis de Sales 1567-1622)

If you would like to suggest (or write) a prayer for inclusion in this series please let Tracey Williams, our Dementia Friendly Church Co-ordinator, know.
