ChadNet - the eBulletin of St Chad's Church, Pattingham
        with Patshull

Welcome to this week’s edition of ChadNet – the eBulletin of St Chad’s Church, Pattingham with Patshull.

In this week’s ChadNet:

View from the Pews

Alan Smith

Christmas is a time to celebrate by giving gifts. It reflects the greatest gift ever given when God gave his Son as a vulnerable baby showing His love and truly being God With Us. It is also a time when we share food with others as we celebrate and many supporters of the Well food bank share food with strangers by giving donations.

The Well food bank, based in Wolverhampton, is a Christian charity with a passion to show Jesus’ love for the poor across the city and local area. It delivers some 120 food parcels per week and, since it started in 2006, over 90,000 individuals have been helped.

It is promoting the Reverse Advent Calendar. The concept is a simple one. Put one or more of the items on the calendar into a bag or box and then donate to the Well. Different things are listed for each day from 1st to 24th December. More information can be found later in this bulletin and can be found at www.thewellwolverhampton.co.uk and at the back of the church.

Please be assured that any donation received, even just one item, is very gratefully received by those who receive help.

Donations can be placed at the back of the church or, if collection is required, please contact me on 07757 688518.
